Françoise Grindou
I obtained my tennis coaching license in 2005 in Antibes. The following 10 years and so, I was the head coach of the tennis club at Tourrettes sur Loup in the South of France. I left France for Holland towards the end of 2015.
Over the years, my passion for tennis was enriched through meeting Diego Ramirez, coach on the Tour for more than 30 years, working with various top 50 players. I was lucky enough to be coached by Diego for several years (and still today), improving my skills as a coach and as a player, but also showing me a new dimension to the game of tennis with its many subtleties.
The first contact with a sport can be so important, but later on, it’s those tips that make us say: ’aaah yes, that’s it!’ which really help us make those key steps to progress.
I believe the most important thing for a coach is to adapt to the player. Every person is different but with something in common: Their love for the game.
Today I am delighted to be living in Den Haag and I am teaching at several clubs including Sport Centrum Mariahoeve and De Kieviten in Wassenaar.
I continue to play competitive tournaments as well, participating in international ITF tournaments Seniors 35+.
